Dr. Douglas A. Carmical

Dr. Carmical was born in Michigan and moved to Rogers as a teenager in 1976.  His wife’s name is Laura and they have three sons, Tyler, Colton, and Garrett.

Dr. Carmical received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Harding University in Searcy, AR, and his doctor of dental surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with honors in 1990.  Dr. Carmical has enjoyed practicing dentistry in Rogers since that time.

Dr. Carmical takes many hours of continuing education yearly in an effort to continuously improve his skills and provide the best dentistry available anywhere.  Dr. Carmical and his staff attend classes offered through the American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, and other accredited institutions.

Dr. Carmical has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education on cosmetic dentistry taught by specialists from all over the world, and has studied implant restorative dentistry at the Southern Regional Learning Center and in numerous courses sponsored by Nobel Biocare who is the actual manufacturer of the implants themselves.

Our team includes nine experienced professionals, led by Dr. Carmical. We each share the belief  that our care should be comprehensive and courteous, responding fully to your individual needs and preferences.

Our health care team includes two registered dental hygien- ists, Amanda, and Kimber who are highly skilled yet caring and gentle.  We have two dental assistants;  Charman, and Mandy who are all registered and licensed by the State of Arkansas.

Our schedule coordinator, Jennifer greets every patient, and makes every attempt to set appointments that can accom- modate your personal schedule.  Gypsy, our financial coord- inator is at your service to explain and facilitate insurance and financial arrangements.

Our team’s commitment extends beyond your office visits. We contact you after restorative treatment to make sure that everything has gone as expected, and we make courtesy calls to remind you of upcoming appointments.
